A compact home in city jungle
This is a studio project designed to create a compact home for one person or a couple living in a city with an over-prised housing situation. Some fans of smart space design will appreciate the sleeping station that elevates over storage section.
FULLY FUNCTIONAL SPACE
Although the studio is only 45 m2, by using some smart design layout techniques we’ve managed to create a fully functional home to accommodate family dinners, work station, movie sessions on projector screen, and obviously retreat corners to enjoy the comforting silence of home.
ELEVATED BED STATION
The sleeping station is elevated over three storage units.
BED STATION SEPARATION WALL
In order to allow more natural light and at the same time keep some privacy around the sleeping area, the station is separated from the office zone by a semi-transparent plywood feature wall.
